Future Farmers Network (FFN) has decided to postpone its Youth Ag Council (YAC) event, usually held annually in Canberra.
Youth Ag Council is an open forum for young people in Agriculture to communicate their aspirations for policy change directly to the Federal Government. FFN then champions the actions from Youth Ag Council, keeping its community up to date on policy progress.
YAC was pushed back to late 2016 due to the drawn out election process and uncertainty within relevant government departments involved in the event. After consultation with several industry youth groups it has been decided that the best date to hold YAC will be in the first half of 2017.
