Carbon bus tour
A major component of the Young Carbon Farmers project is the educational tours, which provide young farmers and agribusiness professionals with an opportunity to hear from leading scientific experts and see what is happening on-farm in the carbon farming and climate variability space. These tours are more commonly referred to as the 'Carbon Bus' Tours.
As part of the Young Carbon Farmers project Future Farmers Network (FFN) and Sefton & Associates together coordinated two “Carbon Bus” tours. The Northern Carbon Bus tour took place in the Townville region of Queensland in March 2014 and the Southern Carbon Bus tour took place in the Geelong, Terang and Hamilton regions of Victoria in September 2014.
